Roger Russell moved to Van Buren from Kentucky in 2004. His
God-given talent is speaking God’s word; he has more than 30
years of experience in ministry. Roger graduated from Southern
Christian University in 1981 with a Masters Degree of
Bible. Since then, he has preached full-time for congregations
in Georgia, Alabama, Michigan, Kentucky, and now Arkansas. He
spends much of his time as a servant, visiting the sick,
grieving and hurt. His wife Greta is also a servant in the
church. They have two daughters together, Allison and Ashley,
and their third “daughter” Emily, is a special blessing to the
family. Allison is a graduate of Freed Hardeman University and
is currently a 6th grade teacher in Hamburg,
AR. Allison attends the Crossett Church of Christ. Ashley is a
graduate of the University of Arkansas. She is currently a
student at Harding University and a member of the Judsonia
Church of Christ. Emily is a speech pathology student at the
University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and attends the Center
Street Church of Christ.
