  Each summer, several members of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ join members of other congregations to support a medical mission in Nicaragua. 

Manuel Centeno, a Pleasant Valley Church of Christ deacon,  also visits several times throughout the year working with local churches.  As a native of Nicaragua, he is deeply concerned for the eternal welfare of the Nicaraguan people.
               
  There have been four Churches of Christ established in Nicaragua as a result of this mission work. 

In 2008, a new campaign was created to get clean drinking water to the Miskito Indians on Nicaragua's north border.  You may find out more by going to:
